Our 2026 Bloom Celebration Begins May 2! I am very pleased to announce that our bloom season has begun, and the farm will open to visitors on May 2nd! I will have the usual bag sales, and I plan to increase the variety, with a larger selection than I have had in the past. Our hours will be 9:00 to 7:00, 7 days a week, until bloom finishes. And, please remember the spuria irises bloom after the bearded irises. The spuria blooms will not have been affected by the March freeze, and we expect a brilliant display of these plants -- definitely worth a second trip to view and order these wonderful irises, which are becoming so popular. The Iris gardens take in some 8 acres. Tall Bearded Iris are, and always will be our mainstay in irises. We grow over 2000 named Tall Bearded varieties, as well as several thousand seedlings. Spuria irises, the king of the landscaping irises, are exploding in popularity. We grow over 200 varieties of Spuria irises, as well as several thousand Spuria seedlings.
