Reblooming Irises are merely bearded irises that carry extra genes that cause the plants to bloom again at varying times from mid summer until frost.  Much work is being done to establish irises that will bloom from spring until late fall.  In warm climate areas it is now possible to have irises that may bloom for 10 or even 11 months out of the year.  Culture is just like regular irises, but extra water in hotter months and extra fertilizer are a must to promote rebloom.  It is a wise decision to plant your rebloomers separate from your regular once blooming irises because of watering cultural differences.  Why not try some of the hottest selling irises in the iris world?
