photo shows a stalk of our superb new plicata creation. Jim says this will
be our flagship iris in our newly emerging plicata lines. Standards are
heavily ruffled raspberry with a slight yellow cast at the midribs. Falls
are ruffled and fluted muted yellow with raspberry edges and center line below
the tangerine beards. The heat is on the competition with our new show
stopping iris. Show stalks and a bud count of 7 to 8.

Indicator - (Jim Hedgecock-2006) - Sdlg, L-85-C-TB-36"-M - We have to admit
that indicator was a very pleasant surprise when it first bloomed here.
Being a child of our popular, Count Dracula, was a definite plus. The
ruffled blooms are purple black with the standards being just a tad lighter in
coloration. The real indicator comes in the fat burnt orange beards that
end in dark purple horns. Wonderful bud count and stalks round out this

Music - (Jim Hedgecock-2006) - Sdlg. J-24-B-TB-34"-M - Our vibrant, new
creation just glows with tropical overtones. Standards are ruffled medium
orange. Falls are heavily ruffled and fluted medium orange-yellow with a
small white flash at the tangerine-red beards. Superb branching with a bud

Dark Watch - (Jim Hedgecock-2006) - Sdlg. J-23-B-TB-33"-M - The cross of
Night Ruler x Spirit World has produce one of the finest sets of seedlings that
we have ever raised. Dark Watch will be the first of several
introductions. Florets are heavily ruffled purple-black with matching
purple-black beards. Bud count is 7 to 8 with excellent branching.

Western Dawn - (Jim Hedgecock-2006) - Sdlg. L-67-B-TB-31"-M - Imagine,
dawn in the western deserts. Pinks, yellows, oranges. Western Dawn
reminds us of those dawn pinks. Moderate sized florets are laced, ruffled,
and fluted mauve pink, with paler pink in the areas at the tangerine-orange
beards. Good bud count and stalks. Mild, sweet fragrance. A

Dat's Da One - (Jim Hedgecock-2006) - Sdlg. L-20-B-TB-32"-ML - Ok, our
English isn't very good in this name. What a fun iris this is. The
large, nicely ruffled, blue-lavender flowers are randomly streaked and splashed
in blue-white. Random flowers may be all blue-lavender or all blue-white.
Beards are white turning yellow in throat. Pronounced sweet fragrance.
Very good bud count and stalks. This one has been a hit with our garden

Epiphany - (Jim Hedgecock-2006) - Sdlg. L-76-B-TB-35"-ML - Perfection, is
the word Jim used when this seedling bloomed. Absolutely the finest pink
to ever come from our lines. The salmon pink standards are laced and
ruffled. The flaring falls are laced, ruffled, and fluted paler salmon
pink with faint yellow-orange markings at the hafts. Mild, pleasant
fragrance. Substance is very good with blossoms lasting 4 days. High
bud count and superb stalks. Epiphany will be your new discovery in

Pinktastic - (Jim Hedgecock-2006) - Sdlg. L-77-F-TB-34"-M - Perfection in
pink. This medium pink self with a small white blaze below the beards has
been fantastic since it's maiden bloom here. Flowers are laced, ruffled,
and fluted and stalks are picture perfect. Beards are red-orange.

Nightmare - (Jim Hedgecock-2006) - Sdlg. L-124-B-TB-33"-EM - The only
Nightmare involved with our new iris intro will be if you didn't get it for your
iris collection. A number of garden visitors have admired this seedling.
The ruffled standards are dark purple. Falls are ruffled and fluted darker
purple with a velvety sheen. Beards are blue-black. Mild, sweet

Cowboy Up - (Jim Hedgecock-2006) - Sdlg. H-18-B-TB-36"-M - Cowboy Up
reminds us of the reds and maroons associated with western landscapes.
Ruffled standards are medium red with slight white flushes at darker red
midribs. The ruffled and fluted falls are white with darker red plicata
borders and hafts. There is a dark maroon stripe extending from burnt
brown beards to fall edges. Pronounced sweet fragrance. Why not

Howdy Clouds - (Jim Hedgecock-2006) - Sdlg. G-33-1-TB-33"-M - We love the
name for our new heavily ruffled and lightly laced white self. Medium
sized florets are a real standout in the garden. Branching is good with 6
