Cowboy in Black-(Jim Hedgecock-2005)-Sdlg. K-28-A-TB-34"-M- Many of our customers are aware of Jim's title of the Iris Man In Black.  Any official iris function that he attends, he is dressed in black western clothes.  We felt that he needed an iris to go with the image.  Cowboy In Black is the first of several new space age black irises that we will be introducing.  Color is near black with a velvety sheen.  Form is wide and ruffled like its parent, Dracula's Shadow.  Falls are ruffled and fluted with purple beards that end in 3/4 inch near black horns.  Mild pleasant fragrance.  Very few black space age irises have been introduced.  Dracula's Shadow X A-31-7; (83-25: (Space Dragon X Tuxedo) X 83-48: Sky Hooks X Swazi Princess)). Limited Stock $15.00

Iroquois Scout-(Jim Hedgecock-2005)-Sdlg. K-63-B-TB-38"-M- While doing a judges training session in New York, Jim asked about local Indian names for our Indian serious of irises.  He liked the Iroquois name and a new introduction was born.  Our scout is a bold new bicolor that we think is quite distinctive.  Standards are ruffled medium tan.  The ruffled and fluted falls are medium purple lightening to tan at the hafts.  Beards are burnt orange.  Slight mild fragrance.  This scout is a bold and vibrant addition to our Indian series.  Dracula's Shadow X A-32-4: (83-25: Space Dragon X Tuxedo) X Sophistication). $6.00

Line of Fire-(Jim Hedgecock-2005)-Sdlg. H-11-A-TB-34"-M- Don't stand in the way when people are viewing our new red bicolor, you will be in the Line Of Fire.  Standards are ruffled medium red.  Falls are ruffled and fluted dark red with a velour finish.  Add bright yellow hash marks on the the falls at the bright yellow beards and you have a real Line Of Fire.  Unique.  Rebloom untested.  Chief Quinaby X Witch of Endor.  Limited Stock-$15.00

Fear Factor-(Jim Hedgecock-2005)-Sdlg. H-74-1-TB-32"-M- This one was a sleeper for us.  We have had the seedling for several years and finally last year it put on a real show for garden visitors. After getting a number of raves on it, we decided to introduce it.  Standards are ruffled dark purple.  Falls are near black with lighter shades at the edges and form is ruffled and fluted.  There are dark blue streaks that radiate out from the dark blue beards that turn brown in the throat.  Mild pleasant fragrance.  Somewhat shorter than some irises, so plant more to the front of the bed.  Not scary at all, in fact, simply a beautiful new garden iris for all dark iris lovers.  84-102-1: (Mulberry Wine X Unknown) X 84-99-1: Sky Hooks X Unknown).  $27.50 SOLD OUT
